  Make your own bathroom plunger caddy -- cheap and easy.

  after you finish that nasty bathroom task, put the plunger where it can dry out without messing up your floor.

  an empty one gallon milk jug and a pair of scissors are all you'll need.

  oh -- don't forget using the magic marker, an artistic task your kids would enjoy.

  That's a good one, Blondie. It's one of the many found at this link.

  I hate to blow my own horn. However, mine is the only milk bottle design (I've seen) that can be toted with one hand -- either from the plunger handle or the milk bottle handle. That, because the handle snaps into place and is "captured" by the neck of the bottle. In addition, think of the wonderful graphic design possibilities (just joking, of course).

  I think that you lurking JW's should dig deep into your pockets and send a generous donation to "Worldwide Work" in behalf of this Miracle Plunger Caddy. Recall the Miracle Wheat near the turn of the last century? I suspect Watchtower headquarters has a donation bucket just outside the door for your convenience.

  Remarkable Statistic - Bible Studies compared to Baptisms

  i am surprised i have not noticed this before, particularly since this is one of the most important statistics, and so have just added the new graphs to watchtower publisher statistics.. the number of bible studies generally trends roughly with the number of publishers on a one to one basis.

  however, the number of baptisms has not been rising.

  this has resulted in a rapidly falling conversion rate.

  I love it when suits and dresses with fake smiles call. I always get a chance to divulge the fact that I studied with them many years ago. Not a lie -- I simply don't expose the fact that I then became a MS, an elder, developed a bothered conscience that resulted in disfellowshipping.

  Their inevitable question -- "Why did you stop studying?" -- is the perfect lead to my introduction to The Great Watchtower Contradiction, an 11 minute read designed for new ones but which poses questions on topics that the most seasoned JW -- your husband included -- would cringe at.

  Contradiction contains a table handout that you can snip for purse or billfold. I always keep my billfold handy.

  my wife and i were slowly leaving walmart's parking lot in el dorado (that's arkansas) last night and i did a double-take.

  my wife said, "what are you doing"?

  as i swung around to circle back to the row we had just left.

  My wife and I were slowly leaving Walmart's parking lot in El Dorado (that's Arkansas) last night and I did a double-take. My wife said, "what are you doing"? as I swung around to circle back to the row we had just left. My new LG Optimus smart phone camera did the rest.

  Sure enough, there it was -- a vehicle with the familiar acronym. Yes, I suppose that it could stand for many things but I was fantasizing that someone was still shopping and that same someone had invested in some Arkansas fantasy plates at a premium cost of $25 per year. That's no trivial amount for simply making a statement. If that's the case, I'm proud of you. Len Miller

  hey everyone!

  i'm so happy that i finnally joined i just turned 17 and i have so many questions about the org.. i've been lurking around the site for months, and love reading experiences about bethel, and all the hypocricy that the wtbts spews out.. so i finally joined in and hope to make some great friends.. a little about me:.

  im male, 17, and i am a born-in, so this is all i know... i was baptised at age 13 i beleive.... my gramma, and grampa and mom , and sisters and brothers, are all jw's.

  As for me I was baptised when I was 16 -- but that was a few years ago -- like 66!!!

  Does it matter what kind of keyboard you type on?

  i have been typing on the same keyboard for almost 17 years and i'm so used to it i don't want to go to another kind of keyboard if anything happens to this one.. in fact i have a backup model of the same keyboard since they are so hard to find.

  it's the old ibm model m keyboard.

  i love the sound of the feedback and the racket it makes compared to the newer keyboards.

  Hi LRG,

  I had a keyboard many years ago that looked kind of like yours. It was a Northgate and I loved the feel / click. Also the function keys in two columns on the left which I used for AutoCAD. Unfortunately, that one bit the dust as it couldn't cohabit with later computers and I opted to buy ($9.95) one of the "natural" keyboards a dozen years ago. It doesn't have the click that I like but I love the "natural" slanted key positions. It's tough to type on an ordinary keyboard since.
